Searching for the perfect prom dress.

In May my school will organize a prom for the last year students, just before the final exam. That means dancing, partying and... amazing outfits. So I'm searching for the perfect prom dress. I want it to be in a clear color, plan, so I could accessorize it with a fake-leather black perfecto, rock silver jewellry and maybe those Minelli pumps :

The fact is that I've already found the perfect dress. Identical to what I was aiming for. A Dorothy Perkins one. The problem is, it is the old collection and there is no more left in my size !

So I have to find another one. I have only 2 months left because I want to wear it for my 18th birthday party too. if anyone can help me, thank you ! I will have no rest until I find the perfect one.

En mai mon lycée organise un bal de promo pour les classes de Terminale, juste avant le bac. Ça veut dire un belle soirée, de la dance, et... de super tenues. Donc je cherche la parfaite robe de bal. Je veux qu'elle soit dans une couleur claire, simple, pour pouvoir la porter avec un perfecto et ces ballerines. Le truc, c'est que j'ai trouvé la robe parfaite, chez Dorothy Perkins. Mais comme elle est dans les soldes de l'ancienne collection, bien sûr, il n'y a plus ma taille... Bref, je vais devoir en trouver une autre, et je n'ai que deux mois devant moi, car j'aimerais également la porter pour mes 18 ans. Si quelqu'un peut m'aider, merci ! Je n'aurais de repos tant que j'aurais trouvé la robe parfaite...

Recollections from Istanbul ♥

 In March 2010 my school organised a trip in Turkey, in cooperation with the french institute of Sainte Pulchérie, in Istanbul. We were working with the rewarded photographer Timurtaş Onan, and we made an exhibition of pictures we had taken during the journey.

It was a fantastic experience because it allowed me to hear advices from a professional photographer and mainly to visit a new and very different country, to meet amazing people and to see breath-taking landscapes. I wish I took more photographs - even if I already took more than a thousand. I also regret I didn't know how to use my new camera better ; now I could make better picture.

But in the end, it's still one of the best memories of my young life, and certainly the journey which has taught me the most.

En Mars 2010 mon lycée a organisé un échange avec l'école française Ste Pulchérie d'Istanbul. Dans le cadre d'une exposition de photographies, nous avons travaillé avec le photographe récompensé Timurtaş Onan. ca a été une expérience formidable car j'ai pu avoir les conseils d'un professionnel, j'ai rencontré des gens formidables et vu des paysages époustouflants. Cependant je regrette de ne pas avoir pris assez de photos et de ne pas avoir su manipuler mon appareil à l'époque. Cependant ce voyage reste une expérience inoubliable, et certainement celle qui m'a appris le plus.

 As spring is coming, days are growing longer and the weather is becoming more and more fine. So that means I can go out for photoshooting again ! So I decided to do a little hippie-inspired look to begin with. My little sister took the pictures, but she is not used to take photograph with a reflex, so that's why the pavement isn't really horizontal... ^__^

Comme le printemps arrive, les jours rallongent et la météo s'embellit. Je peux donc refaire des photos en extérieur ! Alors j'ai décidé de commencer avec un style d'inspiration hippie. Ma petite sœur a pris les photos mais elle n'est pas habituée au reflex, c'est pour ça que le trottoir est de travers !

Article #1. You're welcome. Coffee anyone ?

Hi. I'm Elfie. I'm 17 years old and I study Literature and English in grammar school in France. That's basically why I gave that name to my blog : when you go to school, you gotta wake up early. 6.00 am everyday. It's not funny, particularly at the beginning of the week. So, I hate Monday mornings.

Some coffee to begin with. Yeah, I do love coffee. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed, I'm actually addicted. I drink at least 5 cups a day, sugarless, strong and black. I love coffee taste, coffee smell, of all coffees, except for MacDonald's, which is disgusting. I do collect mugs too. My favourites are my huuuge Starbucks one, my Union-Jack mug and this one, the "I need my f#cking cafeine" one, which I had for Xmas this year. Pretty nice, huh?

On this blog, I'll share pictures, texts, cinema reviews, shopping reviews, holiday memories, my moods, and some more random shit I'll find useful to publish on the Internet. I'll write in french or/and english depending on the subject. Talk soon people. xx

Salut. J'suis Elfie, 17 ans, lycéenne en Term L. C'est pourquoi j'ai choisi ce nom pour mon blog ; quand on est lycéen, on se lève tôt. 6h tous les matins pour ma part. C'est pas marrant, surtout en début de semaine. Donc, je hais les Lundi matins.

Je commence avec du café. Ouais, j'adore le café. J'dirais pas que j'en suis dingue, j'suis juste accro. Au moins 5 tasses par jour, sans sucre, noir et bien serré. J'aime le goût et l'odeur de tous les cafés, sauf peut-être celui du MacDonald, que j'ai trouvé trouvé dégueu. Je collectionne les mugs aussi. Mes préférés sont mon énorme tasse Starbucks, celle avec le drapeau britannique et celui en photo, que j'ai eu pour Noël.

Sur ce blog je posterais des photos, des textes, des critiques ciné, mes sorties shoppings, petits bonheurs et coups de gueule, où n'importe quelle autre bordel que je trouverais judicieux de mettre sur le web.J'écrirais en anglais et/ou français en fonction du sujet. A plus les gens. xx
